It's music to our ears: the Annual Central Avenue Jazz Festival returns for the first time since 2019. The free festival is a celebration of the vibrant jazz heritage that has shaped the heart of Los Angeles.
Families can enjoy a full day of performances, interactive activities, and food.
The Art Pavilion features a visual cultural art exhibit, live art demonstrations by local muralists and art workshops for the young and young at heart. In the Health & Wellness Pavilion guests can take advantage of a variety of free health, vision and dental screenings for children and adults
The Youth Pavilion has arts & crafts, games, interactive musical activities, and educational demonstrations, including:
- Sports activities, giveaways and more from PlayLA Youth and Adaptive Sports
- Zone Educational booth with interactive activities from the LA Zoo
- Family-oriented art activities courtesy of Lucas Museum of Narrative Art
- Jazz- inspired collage techniques with LACMA
- Jump & Jam! interactive music workshop with YMF Young Musicians Foundation
The festival is held on Central Avenue between MLK Blvd and Vernon Ave. The Festival Map shows the layout.
