Beckman Arts and Science Family Festival
Do the math: Arts + Science = Family Fun, at the Beckman Arts and Science Family Festival, which offers free entertainment and hands-on activities for the curious of all ages.
Families can come together to create, innovate and explore the connections between Science and the Arts. The day is filled with engaging performances, interactive exhibits and hands-on activities.
Activities include LEGO car racing, sun telescopes, robot sumo-battles, live animal encounters, protein and DNA building models, and a walk through exhibit on the history of Earth, along with performances from musical comedy singing ensemble The Alley Cats, world champion Hoop dance performers N8tive Hoop ,and more.
Additional activities include free mini train rides, balloon twisters, large scale building equipment, and a bubble play area provided by BubblePOP.
Food available for purchase. Event is free; no tickets required.
