Before there was Hamilton, there was 1776. To get everyone in a revolutionary mood, the Frida Cinema hosts a free screening of the musical feature 1776.

The founding fathers sing, dance, and argue their way through the writing and signing of the Declaration of Independence in this 1972 film, which is an adaptation of the Broadway musical.  Many of the Broadway stars reprise their original roles, including William Daniels as John Adams.
