The Los Silver Lake Invitational tournament is a day of block partying and adult soccer that raises money for four LAUSD elementary and middle schools in the neighborhood.

Moms, dads, teachers and staff representing the four schools play friendly games of soccer with their kids and community filling the bleachers. Soccer playing kids take over the big field between the two adult games.

This year the invitational is teaming with the Los Feliz Flea, which for one day only will spill onto the street, with a block party happening on St. George St. between Tracy and Griffith Park Blvd.

The block party attractions aren't just for kids: a mechanical bull and rock wall join bouncy houses and slides.  Kid bands from the neighborhood rock the stage.

Refreshments available for purchase at food trucks and a beer garden.

The Los Silver Lake Invitational brings together children, parents, teachers and staff from Micheltorena, Ivanhoe and Franklin Elementary Schools and King Middle School. A portion of the proceeds are donated to the under-funded Marshall Athletic Department.
