CSUN Teenage Drama Workshop

Teenage Drama Workshop (TADW) is a conservatory-style program offering teens ages 11-18 the opportunity to develop skills in theater arts. For the past 64 years, TADW has been held on the California State University Northridge campus.

The workshop's goal is to teach theatre arts and the importance of ensemble and teamwork through intensive classes and productions.

This summer, the program culminates with Hammered: A Thor and Loki Play based on the Marvel series that features the two brothers as teenagers, followed by Disney's Frozen, Jr., the tale of two sisters based on the popular animated movie. Both productions offer students a wide range of opportunities.

The tech theatre program allows students 13 and older to learn backstage theatre techniques and participate in the construction of scenery, lighting, and costumes.
