Birds eat many different things, from seeds, to insects, to other animals. In this program kids learn about an owl’s life through their diet.

Owls are important members of our forest and field habitats here on Long Island and are known to be excellent hunters, using their sharp eyesight and good hearing to find food. What do they eat? Join SoFo for an “owl pellet” dissection activity and craft to discover what an owl needs to eat to survive. Kids will work on counting and sorting skills as well. Material fee $2.
