The South Fork Natural History Museum's Young Birders Club meets on the third Saturday of each month and is open to anyone ages 8-18 interested in learning about birds.

Meetings focus on birding in local areas since Long Island has many great habitats providing homes to various species. Bring binoculars and a field guide to birds of the eastern United States if you have them. A limited supply of binoculars is available to borrow.

NOTE: As mandated by the latest State Executive Order regarding COVID-19 safety precautions, these outdoor nature walks and programs follow stringent six-foot distancing separation protocols required by the Department of Health for the safety of all participants and environmental educators. Masks and gloves are provided for all attendees.
