The Annual Long Island Gingerbread and Chocolate House Competition is set for December 7 at the Chocolate Duck in Farmingdale.  

Calling all bakers: Theme houses, however the entries can be other structures / any Long Island inspired Gingerbread or Chocolate house original creation. 

The Chocolate Duck, located in Farmingdale Village, is hosting the competition which includes both Gingerbread and Chocolate houses, Adult and Youth Divisions, as well as Amateur and Open Divisions.  Prizes will be awarded in each division including cash and gift certificates. The competition opens to the public at noon on December 7.

Long Island Cares will be at the event, helping to fight hunger, please bring a non-perishable food donation, a check or gift cards to donate.
