Centennial Anniversary Celebration of Dorothy P. Flint 4-H Camp
- see all dates
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County celebrates 100 years of Dorothy P. Flint 4-H Camp, the oldest 4-H Camp in New York State.
This historic event, marking a century of camping, education, and leadership development, will take place over Labor Day Weekend from August 31 to September 2.
The Centennial Celebration includes an extensive mix of family-friendly and adult activities. While many of the activities are camp classics currently offered in the camping program and are great for families, there are some additions perfect for solo adults, alumni, or new community members who want to get out and enjoy the beautiful property and support future programs. This event is an acknowledgment of not just the past, but of the future being built together. Everyone is welcome, regardless of whether they have been part of the journey for years or are just getting to know the camp.
