- see all dates
Garden Grove marks Memorial Day weekend for the 64th year with its Strawberry Festival, the second largest city festival in the West. This year, the festival's theme is "Celebrating Our Hometown."
The Strawberry Festival Parade steps off on Saturday (10am), with celebrities, elected officials, visiting bands, and equestrian units all taking part. And wahoo! The Celebrity Grand Marshals for the 2024 parade are the Brothers of Wahoo’s Fish Tacos.
Other festival highlights include a pancake breakfast, live music, contests, vendors, and a Cake Cutting Ceremony, as well as carnival rides and attractions for all ages .
Ride-all-day wristbands cost $35 on Friday and $40 the rest of the weekend. Tickets for individual rides can also be purchased separately at $1 per ticket, (3 to 8 tickets per ride).
The festival is held at the Village Green between Main Street and Euclid Avenue in downtown Garden Grove.
