POSTPONED Chumash Day Powwow and Inter-Tribal Gathering

UPDATE: due to the after effects of the Broad, Franklin, and Palisades Fires, the Chumash Day Native American Powwow and Intertribal Gathering is postponed to 2026.
Native Americans gather at Malibu Bluffs Park for a festive cultural celebration honoring Malibu’s original residents and First Americans, the Chumash.
The community is encouraged to attend this two day event featuring a variety of Native American arts and crafts, Native American tribal ceremonies, dances, special guest performances, and Chumash history storytelling.
This family-friendly cultural festival is free and open for all to attend.
Please note there is no on-site parking. General parking is at 23575 Civic Center Way; ADA parking is at 23825 Stuart Ranch Road. Complimentary shuttle available from both sites.
Wondering what to expect? Check out our in depth review and photo gallery of the Malibu powwow.
