The Woodlands Family YMCA Kids Triathlon
Let your kids (ages 6-12) test their swim-bike-run skills in a friendly competition during The Woodlands YMCA Kids Triathlon. Every participant receives a goodie bag, t-shirt, and finisher medal.
Race Categories
- Ages 6-9 (Age on Race Day): 50-Meter Swim, 1-Mile Bike, ¼-Mile Run
- Ages 10-12 (Age on Race Day): 100-Meter Swim, 2-Mile Bike, ½-Mile Run
Event Timeline
5:30 am: Packet pick-up and chip pick-up begins
6:30 am: Packet pick-up and chip pick-up closes
7:00 am: Transition area closes
7:20 am: All racers lined up in their designated holding area
7:30 am: Race begins

Run: Branch Crossing Fields
Swim: Branch Crossing Lap Pool
Bike: Ashlane Way
Required Equipment
• Swimsuit
• Bike (with handlebar end-caps, no training wheels)
• Goggles
• Bike Helmet*
• Running Shoes
*Helmet must be worn on the bike course. Athletes will not be able to compete without a helmet. Race number must be visible from front when you cross the finish line.
