Aileen Kirkham, also known as Captain Book, will present her special blend of puppetry, songs and humor to young audiences at The Woodlands Children’s

Performances will take place at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Kirkham, a Tomball-area resident, has worked as a school librarian, teacher and consultant. She also is a published author, professional storyteller and puppeteer. During her stage shows as Captain Book, she often is accompanied by her first mate, Kitty the Dog.
