Singer/songwriter Joe McDermott will present four 30-minute concerts at The Woodlands Children’s Museum.

Performances are at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

McDermott, who has been described as a “Texas treasure” by the Texas Library Association, released his first children’s music album in 1988. The former Montessori teacher has received numerous Parent’s Choice Awards and nominations along with recognition from the National Parenting Product Awards (NAPPA), the International Song Writing Competition and the John Lennon Songwriting Contest.
