CANCELED: UT Brain Night
Join The Health Museum and UTHealth Neuroscience Research Center for UT Brain Night as part of international Brain Awareness Week! This annual event invites kids and families to participate in kid-friendly, interactive activities about neuroscience.
This event helps to increase awareness of how the brain operates through demonstrations of bike-helmet safety, brain reflexes, eye-hand coordination and comparing the brains of different species.
Kids will also get the opportunity to build their own nerve cell with pipe-cleaners, get a face painting of a nerve cell or brain, and touch an actual human brain!
For more information, please visit https://www.facebook.com/events/2871740039551769/?active_tab=about.
General admission to The Health Museum is free for children two and under; $8 for children 3 to 12 years old and seniors 65 and above; $10 for adults; and free on Thursdays for families from 2-7 p.m.
Active and retired military personnel receive half-off admission for up to four people. General admission also provides access to the museum’s multiple exhibits. For more information about The Health Museum visit thehealthmuseum.org.
