Experience the captivating world of balloon-character sculpting, inspired by the current exhibition Max Adrian: RIPSTOP!, and unleash creativity and explore various shapes and designs by inflating and twisting your own balloon. 

Be sure not to miss a special addition this month: a bouncy house inspired by the exhibition for our visitors between 3-12 years old.  Space and bounce time will be limited to ensure everyone’s safety.

This making activity will take place indoors and is on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. The bouncy house will be located outdoors, in the HCCC parking lot.

HANDS-ON HOUSTON is a free drop-in event held on the first Saturday of every month. Each month, a teaching artist demonstrates a craft related to the current exhibitions. Families and children of all ages are welcome to come any time between 11 AM and 3 PM and participate in a 15 – 20-minute activity. Materials are provided. This program supports HCCC’s mission to advance education about the process, product, and history of craft.
