Texas Folklife returns to Houston’s Miller Outdoor Theatre to host the 34th Annual Accordion Kings & Queens concert.

The free live event is included as a part of the Theatre’s celebration of its 100th season and features a lineup of the best in Texas accordion music genres, including Tejano Conjunto, Creole and Zydeco, Polka, and more. 2023 performers include Texas native and Louisiana-based Cedric Watson Bijou Creole, the Gulf Coast female-led Tejano Conjunto act Grupo Imagen, and Grammy-nominated Polka phenomenon Alex Meixner Band. Guest performers will also include Texas Folklife’s 2023 Big Squeeze statewide youth accordion contest champions.
