Each year, the Museum honors the legacy of civil rights leader, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., with messages of unity, justice, and peace. ‍

Beginning at Noon:

Musical Selection/Medley – Dr. Kiana Williams "Lift Every Voice and Sing"

Welcome, Purpose by Kids’ Committee President Sofia Salinas 

Performance by Ministry in Motion 

KC invites crowd to join their Peace March down Kid’s Hall to Alcove

Steve Scott reenacts “I Have a Dream” Speech 

Dr. Kiana sings “A Change is Gonna Come”

KC closing remarks 

Special Storytime & Craft Sponsored by Phillips 66: Following the reading, children will work together to make their own “Unity Peace Doves”
