Make time for the 25th annual Storytelling Festival. Storytellers from the tri-state area offer bales of laughter, wit and wisdom with farm-related stories for young and old alike. Storytellers perform at sites throughout the farm from 12 Noon to 6 PM. All activities are free and open to the public. In the event of rain, guests can enjoy indoor sites. Food is available for purchase. People interested in the art and practice of storytelling are invited to a free morning workshop 'Gleaning Insight from Critical Moments: Working Below and Between the Lines of an Oral Text' from 9:30 AM-11:30 AM. Led by master storytellers Paula Davidoff and Julie Della Torre, this workshop is geared to both novices and professionals and explores storytelling techniques and strategies. Seating for the workshop is limited so be sure to register at njstorynet.org. It is important to note that this year's festival is held at a new location.
