Workshops include:

Clay Bar: New Years Eve Fireworks!:
Create clay relief sculptures of fantastic fireworks at the famous Clay Bar! (ages 5+)

Media Lab: New Year's Wish
Create an animation of your hopes for the new year! Animate colorful fireworks in a festive stop motion clip! (ages 5+)

Fine Arts Studio: The Big Picture
Welcome in 2019 with a collective narrative! CMA artists help kids add to the collaborative narrative on a giant frame. One artist will begin the story at the very top. The next artist can follow the previous story in their own direction and so on until a brand new story is filled!

Fine Arts Studio: Pop Up Booklets
Using pop-ups is one of the most popular ways to make a picture book. It’s pretty simple to make one of your own, and today in the studio kids learn how! With a little bit of folding and gluing, kids leave the studio today as experienced pop-up book makers.
