Master Storyteller Jonathan Kruk gives a tour in tales of the enchanted places at Ward Pound Ridge frequented by the "Little People." Cross a troll bridge, visit leprechaun lairs, find a faerie eyrie, listen to tales, and meet a live unicorn!
Children listen to lively dramatic fairy tales at various story stops. They also see what happens when things go missing; often the "Lost Elves" have taken things that were thought to be misplaced. The museum staff and volunteers set up all nature fairy houses; create a gate of trees, ferns and flowers; and provide other surprises. Older children delight in finding the next elfin sign. The finale often reveals a flutter of "real" faeries!
The walk is about a mile.
