Meet 145 children’s book authors and illustrators, and enjoy readings, signings, the Bubble Bus, mural painting, juggling, tightrope walking, hair braiding, book-themed art projects, learning a musical instrument. and food for purchase. Broadcast live by KidLit TV.  

The Festival, promoting community and literacy, will have authors covering multiple genres and reading levels, author readings, illustrator demos, book signings, books for sale, “Food For Thought” food trucks, and The Great Chappaqua Bake Sale selling baked treats and raffle tickets to benefit Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry mission to end childhood hunger. A portion of book sales will go to benefit JCY-WCP literacy programs in schools throughout Westchester. 

This year's appearances include Seymour Simon, Ruth Chan, Padma Venkatraman, Jerry Craft, Kate Messner, Victoria Kann, Alyssa Capucilli, Bernard Most, Gail Carson Levine, Barbara Dee, and Peter Lerangis.

Voted “Best Bookworm Event” by Westchester Magazine and written up in Publisher's Weekly, the Huffington Post and other notable publications.

Admission and parking are FREE, and the event is rain or shine.
