Bat expert Kaitlyn Parkins and the New York City Bat Group offers a peek at the secret life of bats that live in and migrate through the Bronx.

Begin with an indoor presentation on the diversity of urban bats and their importance to the ecosystem, then venture out onto the grounds to search for bats at Wave Hill using a bat-detector. Don’t forget your flashlight.

Ages 10 and older welcome with an adult. Rain date: August 29.
