Dozens of activities are planned for New Haven Green, including a re-enactment of the Powder House Day of 1775.

On that day militia under Benedict Arnold demanded the keys to the city's powder house so they could arm themselves before marching to Massachusetts following the battles of Lexington and Concord. Other activities include petting zoo, game zones, horse-drawn carriage rides, Green cleanup, story time and crafts, food trucks, and more.
