Third Annual Connecticut Foster Care and Adoption Fair
Are you or someone you know thinking about starting or expanding your family? There are many children who deserve and want to be a part of a loving family.
Invest a few hours and learn how the adoption process works. The Foster, Adoptive and Kinship Coalition Team (FAKCT) is bringing together foster care and international, domestic, and foster-to-adopt adoption agencies from across Connecticut to kick off National Adoption Month. The fair features the Department of Children and Families, the Heart Gallery and other non-profit organizations involved in adoption support services so Connecticut families can learn more about the process of becoming an adoptive parent. Foster care licensing information will also be available.
Agency representatives from across Connecticut will be staffing information tables where you can ask questions, pick up information and mingle. There will be a panel presentation at 2pm with experts representing domestic, international and foster-to-adopt options. A light lunch will be available at no charge.
For more information call Annie C Courtney Foundation in Waterbury and ask for Deb Kelleher at 475.235.2184. For general information visit www.anniec.org.
