For the first time ever, you can take the train to the KidsPlay Children's Museum!  Enjoy a scenic train ride up the Naugatuck River Valley and over the Thomaston Dam to Torrington, where passengers get two-and-a-half hours to explore the town. Grab lunch, walk around, and see all that downtown has to offer!

New this year, all passengers can purchase half-price admission to KidsPlay Children's Museum when buying their train tickets. 

Itinerary:

  • 10 am - Depart Thomaston Station
  • 10:45 am - Arrive at Torrington Water Street platform
  • 1:15 pm - Depart Torrington
  • 2 pm - Arrive Thomaston Station
