8:00pm to 11:00pm ET
Age: All Ages
Price: Member: $10 Non-Member: $12 Child 10 and Under: Free
Join Earthplace for their summer celebration of nature at night! Detect bat calls, prowl for owls, and, of course, Earthplace will be lightsheeting to observe moths! New this year: they will be presenting the Sandbox film “Nocturnes” in our museum theater.
Moth experts Lukas Keras and Victor DeMasi will be on-site to lead a moth paint-along, discuss moth ecology, demonstrate moth pinning, identify moth species, and more!. Wear your best moth costume and come prepared for crafts, refreshments, and nocturnal fun.
