Frogs Make Me Hoppy! A Pond Puppet-Making Workshop
This special program celebrates the special springtime sights and sounds of frogs experienced at Georgie's Pond. The Audubon's Vernal Pools, Sova Dance & Puppet Theater’s “Frogs Make Me Hoppy” program is a highly engaging puppet-making workshop. Learn about frogs, their habitat, and how to bring unique creations and characters to life through the art of puppetry.
Participants will design their own puppets, learn how to use them, and read a story by the pond where they are likely to hear and see our amphibious friends. This storybook features frog songs from around the world, which families practice singing along with. This workshop ensures bellies full of laughter and fun. Each participant takes their own puppet home with them.
This program is funded in part by The Puffin Foundation, Ltd.
This IN-PERSON program has a limited capacity of participants and will be held entirely outdoors. All participants are required to wear a face mask covering for the duration of the program.
Buildings and facilities are still closed to the public, so please plan accordingly, as restrooms will not be available.
Tickets MUST be purchased in advance through the online ticket sales page. There will be no ticket sales at the door on the day of the program. Please be prepared to show proof of ticket registration, either as a printed copy of the registration receipt or the registration confirmation email on your phone.
- Program Fee: There are several ticket levels available beginning at $25, and each is per person.
