The Avon Lions Club will sponsor a hometown carnival September 22 through September 24. Friday night will feature fireworks at 9 pm.

The carnival will include 13 thrilling rides along with fun games and delicious carnival fare like cotton candy, snow cones, fried dough and candy apples. In addition, eight food trucks and a mobile pub have committed to the event.

Trucks include Lane’s BBQ, New London Shaking Crab, Milkcraft ice cream, Betzy’s Puerto Rican food, the Farmington Polo Club’s mobile eatery, Soulfully Vegan, Sweets n’ Eats sausages and more.
