Surrounded by color, light and music, visitors to the Morton Arboretum's Illumination: Tree Lights at the Morton Arboretum walk a one mile path illustrating the beauty of trees in winter.

 

The event includes seasonal music, interactive lighting designs and the chance wo warm up by a crackling fire with a cozy drink or roast marshmallows for s'mores. This year's event also displays tree-like scupltures that spread intricate designs of light. Visitors can hug a tree to see how the lights respond.
