The whole family can enjoy a Polar Express themed train ride through tunnels, rail yards, and neighborhoods along the Chicago River. Tickets include entertainment, hot chocolate, a cookie, and a keepsake sleigh bell to bring home.

Passengers are encouraged to read along with the classic children’s book, The Polar Express, by Chris Van Allsburg. Families are also encouraged to wear their pajamas for the ride. The ride departs from and returns to Chicago's Union Station. Prices vary, depending on dates and times. Group discounts are available. Children under two are free but must ride on an adult’s lap, and must be ticketed in advance (a free infant ticket must be selected at checkout and the name of the child must be provided on the reservation).
