The Chicago Children's Museum hosts Sound Playground, an exhibit dedicated to making, feeling, hearing, and even seeing sound, featuring "Big Boom," a custom designed, 6 foot drum, "String Thing," a giant pluckable instrument, and "Airophone," stacked bottles with air pumps. Kids and their caregivers can enjoy creating sounds and telling stories with unconventional soundmakers.
