The Cadillac Palace Theatre
The beautiful Cadillac Palace Theatre hosts the musical, Fiddler on the Roof.
Although the show is set in 1905 Russia, the themes of parent- child struggles and "old" versus "modern" values are still relevant today, and are told with wit and humor. From the host: "Set in Pale of Settlement of Imperial Russia in 1905, the musical touches upon the difficult political climate for Jews in Russia at the time, with the looming threat of eviction from the new Tsar, as well as the personal familial struggles of Tevye himself as his strong-willed daughters increasingly challenge his religious and cultural worldviews." Shows run various times from December 19th through January 6th. Recommended for ages 10 and up.
