Young astronomers can learn more about the moon in honor of the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing at this family event. The event includes a presentation about the moon landing followed by interactive activities. Kids can learn about why the moon has phases, why we only see one side of the moon, the distance from the earth to the moon, how craters occur and how lunar eclipses happen.
