Southwest suburban families can celebrate the end of summer with live entertainment, a carnival, food vendors and an arts and crafts show in downtown Frankfort. The Frankfort Festival Parade steps off from Pacific and Maple at 1 p.m. on Sunday. On Friday, families of children with special needs can enjoy early entry into the carnival for Special Needs Day. Carnival ticket packages are available for purchase.
