UIC Center for Literacy Family Start Learning & Support Center hosts Booksgiving 2020, an event focused on creating an in-home library, encourage book sharing, and overall family literacy. Families can enjoy games, giveaways, light refreshments, and more. 

This event will also double as a community open house for the Adult Education program, which helps adults eighteen (18) and older achieve their HSE (high school equivalency) through small class-style instructional prep. Adults needing to complete their HSE can start their registration process on-site for our Southside or Westside location.
