Seward Park hosts a special film fest in honor of Black History month, focusing on the triumph of the human spirit through the insidious legacy of racism.

From the host:

"This Film Project "Other State" explores the cultural predicament of our times-racism. Focusing on how those impacted, specifically Black Americans, live and in many cases thrive in spite of its insidious legacy. This film project is an examination and celebration of the human spirit. It is also a thought-provoking model of how artistry, media and the desire to inform can be a creative tool for social change."

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Admission is free. In partnership with the Seward ark Advisory Council
