Glen Ellyn Park District is partnering with Charlie's Corner Foundation for a lantern walk around Lake Ellyn to benefit Lurie Children's Hospital. The event will include face painting, a balloon artists, a bubble show and live music. Kids can pay $10 to decorate a paper lantern either at home or onsite that day, and at 7:30 p.m., families will walk around the lake with the LED-lit lanterns. Prizes will be awarded for the most creative lanterns.
