This story takes place in the heart of France where magic is alive and memories are made. Belle is one of many siblings and falls behind their large personalities until one day when her father encounters the beast on his way home from selling his trinkets at sea. Belle's father is released with a red rose to tie him forever to the beast. They agree he will return one week later to be held captive in trade for helping build the beast a trinket that makes him return to normal. When Belle's father doesn't return, Belle finds him at the beast's castle and befriends quirky characters that live in the castle. Belle and the beast fall in love, and the rest is history. Our message of the story is that happiness is founded on virtue, emphasizing that honesty is always best.
