Argyle Lunar New Year Celebration & Parade

Kick off the Year of the Tiger with this decades-old Uptown tradition kicking off near the Argyle "L" stop, complete with music, lion dances, floats, entertainment from local groups, activity "pop-ups" and more.


12:00 - 12:45 pm The Chicago Public Library will offer Year of the Tiger Storytime and crafts at the Bezazian Branch 1226 W. Ainslie (Broadway & Anslie)

1 pm-- Parade kicks off at Winthrop and Argyle, travel east along Argyle, south along Sheridan, west along Ainslie, and north along Broadway back to Argyle.

1 p.m. to 4 p.m.-- Use recycled materials to make a cherry blossom craft at 3rd Space, 4956 N. Sheridan
