LEGO play mode on World Play Day

- see all dates
WHAT: In celebration of World Play Day, the LEGO Group is bringing the magic of interactive play to life, inspired by the vibrant city of Boston! On June 11, the Rose Kennedy Greenway will transform into a lively playground where kids can dive into hands-on LEGO® activities that showcase how the power of creativity can brighten and enliven our cities. On World Play Day, Bostonians can expect:
-
The Beat Brick: A larger-than-life LEGO beatbox where children's creations are brought to life via a reimagined step sequencer. Children will build their own remixes with LEGO bricks, and the sequencer will turn them into real music. Build your own dream album cover to share with friends once you’re done.
-
The Block: A reimagined way for kids to adventure through Boston’s everyday spots: visiting a local donut shop, a bustling bus stop, a lively lobster shack, and more! They'll take on the ultimate skills challenge featuring basketball, blending fun with creativity as they explore their city like never before.
-
The Dock: For over a century, the legend of the Gloucester Sea Creature has been making waves across Massachusetts! Now, it’s your turn to dive into the fun and conjure up your very own sea monster legend! Climb aboard the Brick Cruiser, gather LEGO bricks, and let your imagination run wild as you build your own legendary sea serpent. But beware—keep an eye out for any lurking sea creatures around the boat!
