Families can get outside this Mother’s Day and celebrate mom with a picnic at the Stevens-Coolidge Place and by playing croquet, bocce, ring toss, and other lawn games that are set up throughout the garden.

Take a family photo with a professional portrait photographer (sign up on the website). Explore the garden with your little ones and enjoy live music. A brunch of pastries, fruit salad, coffee cake and vegetable frittatas will be provided.

Lilacs are also in full bloom and a senior horticulturist is on site to answer any lilac questions, plus tours are offered at 10:30 and 11:30 about lilacs and best practices for lilac care.
