Wildlife Walk: Saturday, May 12th - 10am to 12pm

Mother’s Day weekend, join Esplanade Association staff as we walk along the Esplanade identifying different species of birds and animals. Hear about wildlife habitats on the Esplanade and how to restore and preserve those habitats. Participating families will receive a free pair of binoculars as they play some Wildlife Bingo.

Explore the Charles River: Saturday, June 16th (Father’s Day!) & July 21st - 10am to 1pm

Enjoy one of two days of free fishing and kayaking. Each day – including a special one for Father’s Day – Esplanade Association staff and professional anglers will teach participants about the history of the Charles River, the fish that live in the River, and threats to water quality.

Saturday, October 6th: A-to-Z Scavenger Hunt - 10am to 1pm

Come celebrate the fall foliage with the Esplanade Association's A-to-Z Scavenger Hunt. Go on an adventure through the Charles River Esplanade as you learn about its history, activities, and life along the Esplanade. Bring your friends, families, and coworkers on a free fun race through the Esplanade.
