21st Annual ‘Tour de Natick’:

This Father’s Day marks the Natick Rotary’s 21st Annual family-friendly bike ride through downtown Natick, known locally as the ‘Tour de Natick.’ The easy 6 mile ride starts and ends at the Natick Common - riders head out at 11 AM and return for a complimentary cookout immediately following.  Tickets prices are $40 per individual or $65 per family -  register for the ‘Tour de Natick’ online.  Registrations will be available day of.

New this year:  

‘Spin Art’ Father’s Day Cards, created using the pedal power of a special bike, is part of the finish line celebration, courtesy of the Town of Natick's Sustainability Office.  Additionally, participants will  receive "dad jokes" about heat pumps and receive a special invite to participate in Natick's upcoming Heat Pump Party on June 26.  The Sustainability Office will also be offering ideas and opportunities for residents to go green. 

Bloom and Grow Creative, a new craft studio and creative play space located in Natick center, will be offering free pirate and mermaid themed crafts and sensory play on the Common. Kids can decorate a pirate hat or mermaid crown or make their own noodle boat to sail in the water table of sunken treasure (while supplies last)!

Bike Raffle & More:

A Denago Electric Bike from Landry’s Bicycles - a $1400 value -  is being raffled off leading up to the event and the drawing will be held the day of (the winner has the option to keep this Electric Bike or apply its value towards an in stock bike of their choice).  Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at the Rotary table at the downtown Natick’s Farmers Markets on Saturdays.  Tech Support this year will be provided by Steve the Bike Guy - mechanics will be available for complimentary bike checkups, tire inflation and helmet adjustments for participants (they just ask that riders pay for any parts, if needed).

About the Natick Rotary

The Tour de Natick raises money for the Rotary Club of Natick’s charitable foundation to benefit Natick Scholars. Each year the Rotary Club of Natick gives away a total of $10,000 in scholarships to graduating Natick High School Seniors. Additionally, they give out over 300 dictionaries to third graders through their dictionary program. Over the past 20 years they’ve been able to give out over $200,000 in scholarships and over 6,000 dictionaries due to the huge community support of the ‘Tour de Natick’.
