The Metropolitan Waterworks Museum has planned a summer program filled with engaging stories, crafts, and activities centered on water and the waterworks.

Participation is free, with a suggested donation of $5 per child.

Thursdays, 10am–11am

July:

  • July 3 – Summer Sunshine: Create a suncatcher

  • July 10 – Glacier Animals: Free animals from the ice

  • July 17 – Bubbles Everywhere!: Play and paint with bubbles

  • July 24 – Be an Engineer: Build a cardboard car

  • July 31 – Egg Carton Creatures: Craft with recyclables

August:

  • Aug 7 – Microbe Magic: Learn about germs

  • Aug 14 – Ice Painting: Explore the three states of matter

  • Aug 21 – Sink or Float?: Make a boat that floats
