The 2nd annual Winterfest in Newton has a weekend of fun planned including, winter walks, ice sculptures and visits from Frozen characters.

Tentative Schedule:

Saturday, January 28
5:30 pm – 7:30 pm Hyde Community Center
Soup Social: with soup donated by local restaurants and served by Newton notables Hot Chocolate & Cookies
6:30 pm- 7:30 pm Eli Cash Band, Olaf and Friends, Glow in the Dark Hula Hooping and Glow Stick fun

Sunday, January 29

  • 10:00 am-11:00 am Cold Spring Park
    Guided Winter Walk
  • 12:00 pm -4:00 pm Newton Centre Green
    Ice Sculptures & Live Demonstrations
    Performances by: Elsa from Frozen, Calpulli Coyoxochitl Dance Group of Newton, Far and Wide with Tom Pugh, “Women in White” roving dancers Special Guests: Olaf and Friends and Officer Leo the super pup
    Free hot chocolate

    Winter Blanket Collection Drive
