Boston Model UN Academy | Session One

- see all dates
The Boston Model UN Academy is designed to help current 8th and 9th grade students take their Model UN skills to the next level: becoming a skilled public speaker, developing problem-solving skills, and having an enjoyable summer experience with energetic and experienced instructors.
Students can enroll with any level of Model UN experience, and will be placed in one of three rooms accordingly. Additionally, each student receives individual attention and feedback, which is enabled by a 10:1 student/instructor ratio and daily feedback sessions. Act fast and secure a spot, as availability is limited.
Dates: Monday June 12th - Friday June 16th
Location: Lasell University, Winslow Academic Center
Eligibility: Current 8th and 9th grade students
Mission: The Boston Model UN Academy was established by Jack Botein, a rising first-year student at Harvard College, with the intention of providing an enjoyable summer experience for students to learn key Model UN skills. The instructors—Jack, Patrick, and Alice—worked together as co-presidents of the Model UN club at The Beaver Country Day School. They have accumulated more than 20 awards at nationwide Model UN competitions and have jointly instructed weekly Model UN classes to students at Beaver for the last two years.
