Ballethnic Dance Company presents Urban Nutcracker, a truly Atlanta-inspired version of the classic story, at the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel at Morehouse College. 

Urban Nutcracker takes place on Sweet Auburn Avenue in the 1940s. The Chocolatier and Bubblin' Brown Sugar escort Clara to a magical land of Sweets. Along the way, Clara meets Reggae Rag Dolls, Black Russians, Mother Spice and her Spice Drops, and the bubbly Coca-Cola Pas de Six. Urban Nutcracker includes classical ballet, modern, jazz, and tap for a unique version of the Nutcracker story.​
