The Publix Atlanta Kids Marathon gives kids and families the opportunity to engage in the sport of running and participate in a race that closely resembles a big-city marathon. The kid portion of the event is held on Saturday, the day prior to the big half and full marathon, at a new location for 2024: The Home Depot Backyard. 

Kid events: 

5K (ages 8 and up)
3K (ages 7 to 14)
50M Dash (ages 14 and under)

Kids can also play in the Track & Field Zone, a fun obstacle course. 

Event to be held rain or shine except in the case of severe weather.
