Juneteenth Atlanta Parade and Music Festival
All weekend long Atlantans have the opportunity to celebrate Juneteenth, which commemorates the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States. The festival starts Friday at 2pm and continues through Sunday at 8pm. Families can view the parade, which starts at noon on Saturday, from Auburn Avenue down to Centennial Olympic Park.
In addition to speakers, musical performances and food trucks, the festival includes a 3-acre children's activity area complete with bouncy houses, soccer, basketall, kites and hula hoops.
